OYO Osterley Park

I spent the most wonderful night ever here recently. I was put in room 34, over the kitchen, and a few metres away from a function room, containing an efficient sound system. I was also lucky enough to be near to the front door, and reveled in the joy of it slamming shatteringly into its frame with regularity akin to a ticking clock. I'd rented the room as I had a plane to meet at 05.00 on Sunday morning, and the osterley is really close to Heathrow Airport. So it was with a joyful heart that I was treated to an evening of loud music thumping as clear as a crystal through my room. After all, who needs sleep? The views from the windows into the car parks are breathtaking! Also, I don't know if its a regular occurrence, but I was treated to a wonderful firework display that started at 20.00, and went on sporadically until 02.00. There was an adjoining building set at a lower level to my bedroom window, and upon it was a stunning open air antique mattress collection of unsurpassed taste, the like of which you'll struggle to see elsewhere. Next to the mattresses was a cheeky little collection of whiskey bottles, somebody is living the life of Riley! I've seen beetle and insect habitats at national trust properties before, and the Osterley is doing its bit for the environment, with its 'kingdom of mattresses' feature. There are probably rats living in the mattresses, and I did hear something crawling in the wall next to my head, once the music and fireworks finished. Chris Packam would fu**ing love the Osterley. As mentioned, I had a plane to meet, so once I'd had my 1 1/2 hours sleep on a fun bed that folded like a banana when you lay on it, I made my way to the reception to hand my key in. Luckily for the sleeping concierge I am light footed for a big guy, so I didn't wake him from his probably well earned slumber, poor little fella, had a big day. I didn't want to be accused of not handing back my key at a later date, so I took a picture of sleeping non beauty as evidence that I had. I then made my way out of the 'hotel' across the cracked tiled floor, and down the trip hazard steps to my car. A few minutes later, eating caffeine pills like an 8 year old eating smarties, I pondered my stay at the Osterley. I thought about the owners fastidious regarding the care of their guests, that level of service is unheard of in this century; I hope they are proud. Would I stay again? I don't think so, I wouldn't want to deprive someone else of the experience, maybe even Chris Packam!

Randomly for me and my mum and little brother for a weekend getaway the host was very welcoming as soon as we arrived very late they where so caring they offered us authentic food to eat and made us feel like we were at home definitely come again. and the room were soundproof .

Just read this has changed hands again. I know this Hotel like the back of my hand as it was my family home when my parents managed it in the 60's 70's. Very sad to read some of the reviews. This was a Hotel many famous stars of the day came to. I hope it does not change beyond recognition. I would buy it tomorrow if I had the money

I have been staying at Osterley Park Hotel for the past five days and my experience has been very pleasant. The room is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The ambience of the hotel is calm and welcoming, with a warm and homely feel throughout the property. One of the highlights of my stay has been the breakfast each morning, which is consistently fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests’ needs. Overall, the hotel offers good service, a comfortable stay, and excellent value.

We were in this hotel for 3 nights. They have very nice and friendly staff. Bed are comfortable, clean rooms.( towels, water, tea, coffee) Breakfast are like some toast, Croisant, something sweet, fruits, ham, cheese, some eggs. To drink same like coffe, tea, some juice... Its nice hotel like price-services. Underground station is about 10 minutes by walk. Bus stop 1 minute.
